| Mexico 2007 Isla Mujeres, Akamal, Xcalak | A variety of dives at three different locations. Isla Mujeres was nice but more of a relaxing time then for diving. I really enjoyed Akamal as it had lots of things to do along with the diving. Cenote diving was new to me here and VERY COOL. Ruins of the Maya and jungle to do some birding. Xcalak is a very small place so bring your own food if staying for a while. Good dives here too. |
| Belize Ambergris Cay 2006 | Lots of good dives from here with good rates We saw may nurse sharks, spotted eagle rays and schools of grunts and others. The dives trips are short, less then five minutes away. A variety of reef types and swim troughs. |
| Mexico, Loreto 2005 Spring Break | The group took two dives here and I only one due to a faulty regulator. Waters are a little murky but lots of big fish and different sea stars. |
| Puerto Rico 2004 | We stopped for a week on the way back from Bonaire. See old San Juan fort and interior. Few hotels so plan ahead for a resort or rented home. Waters can be very choppy and long boat trips to reef but great diving. |
| Bonaire 2004 Netherlands Antilles | This island of the coast of Venezuela is a fantastic spot to dive. Shore dives are easily accessible by rented trucks to hall your gear. This is my favorite dive island with hot interior and cacti and donkeys all over the place. Make sure to take at least one day to drive around and see the island. Very clear water and lots of life!!!! Make sure you take a camera. |

| Belize 2001 Glovers Reef Atoll | Good clean water and shallows for play, learning or snorkeling. South Cay is a small island only a few hundred meters in diameter. No electricity except in the kitchen. |
